Serhal is the “solo” project from She Does Is Magic frontman Chad Serhal. I say “solo” in those Matt Foley air quotes because Chad has made a lot of records on his own, but Serhal is the first time that he’s played more of a director’s role, steering the chaos toward his singular vision with a band behind him. “Golden” and “Whiten” (Serhal’s debut albums) are being released together and simultaneously by XRA and Flannelgraph Records in August 2013.
